As CEO of KIPP New Orleans Schools, Rhonda oversees 13 schools serving 5,500 public school students. Rhonda helped open the first KNOS school in June 2005 as a founding board member. She helped the school persevere after Hurricane Katrina, oversaw the opening of more KIPP schools in 2006, and become the first KNOS executive director in 2007. Since then, KIPP has become one of the highest performing charter organizations in the city. Rhonda also served as a Teach for America corps member.
