Richard Harris was born in Helena, Arkansas. A KIPPster through and through, he began his journey with KIPP Delta in 2002 as a fifth grader, and later graduated from KIPP Delta Collegiate as salutatorian. After high school, Richard obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science from Vanderbilt University. He then became a middle school math teacher for KIPP Delta College Preparatory School. Richard graduated Hampton University with an MBA. Currently, he is a tax associate at PwC in Washington, DC.
