Prior to being named CEO, Mini’imah served as the Chief Schools Officer and the Head of Schools for KIPP Metro Atlanta Primary Schools. Mini’imah was also the Founding Principal (a Fisher Fellow) of KIPP STRIVE Primary School, KIPP Metro Atlanta’s first elementary school, established in 2012. Mini’imah began her career in education as a 2001 Teach for America corps member and an assistant principal for four years thereafter. She leads with love, using her experiences and expertise to support and develop KIPP Metro Atlanta’s principals as they work to bring to life every possibility and opportunity for Atlanta’s students.
