Tomi’s career shows her devotion to education and equity. Before joining KIPP, Tomi served as executive director for the Northeast Denver Innovation Zone (NDIZ), where she prioritized equity in school access and experience while helping schools exceed state and local academic metrics. Tomi began her career in education as a teacher, and later served as a school leader at a Denver charter school network, co-founding schools in Southwest and Far Northeast Denver.
